We are looking for students who want to try out for the Best of Broadway Show at Upland High School this year.  Auditions for PJH’s 2018 Best of Broadway will be held on Wednesday, February 21 from 1:30 to 3:30 in the Pioneer Multipurpose Room.

PJH will be performing the song “Thriller” from Michael Jackson’s “This Is It!”  It is important that students wear comfortable clothes and shoes for auditions.   They should be prepared to speak/sing/dance for the tryout.  It would be helpful and to their benefit to know the song/dance to “Thriller”.

Our performance is not a guarantee; we STILL HAVE TO AUDITION FOR THE BEST OF BROADWAY PROGRAM at UHS!

PLEASE REMEMBER that this is a staged performance.  Every student will have a part in the performance that is difficult to substitute.  The dates of Best of Broadway are April 27 and 28 at 7:00 PM at UHS.  IF YOU KNOW NOW THAT YOU CANNOT MAKE THESE PERFORMANCES, please do not audition.  All practices will be after school in the Multipurpose Room.  Students will be informed on Friday, February 23 if they make it.

PLEASE FILL OUT THE ATTACHED FORM AND RETURN IT TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE BY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 20.

PLEASE KEEP THE TOP FOR THE INFO!

Makeup Picture Day is Wednesday, October, 18th during Lunch ONLY

Make-Up Picture Day is for students who either missed the original picture day or for students who purchased pictures on the original picture day and were not satisfied with them.

If you purchased pictures on the original picture day and were not satisfied with them and are having them redone, you MUST bring the original pictures and your student ID card WITH you when you have your photo retaken.

Makeup pictures will be taken in the media room (next to the library) during the students lunch time. Students MUST go to the reference room during their lunch on their own. They will not be called out of class.

This is the last chance for students to have their picture taken for the school yearbook. There will not be another make-up day.

A school Lunch is sold for $3.00 in the cafeteria daily – Extras can be purchased for additional money.

It is the students & parents responsibility to make sure the students lunch account is paid in full throughout the school year.  If a student forgets their lunch one day, they can borrow from the cafeteria - They MUST pay them back the following day.

We suggest using the online account myschoolbucks to monitor your students cafeteria accounts.

We strongly suggest setting up an account on  https://www.myschoolbucks.com

This account will :

~ Allow you to monitor what your students are purchasing for lunch,

~ It will  show you their current balance

~ You can make on line payments (payments may take a day or two to process)

~ You can set up low balance alerts - get notifications when your child is below an amount that you choose.

If you interested in setting up this account (you can have all of your students that attend Upland Unified Schools on one account) the link is on the front page of schoolloop under the quicklink of breakfast & lunch.

Use the 10 digit student #  on  your child's schedule or call the school office.

Students can also take cash or checks directly to the cafeteria.
