Message from Our Principal

Welcome to Pioneer Jr. High School, home of the 49ers.  We are excited about our learning community here on campus!

I look forward to seeing all of our returning students and meeting our new arrivals.  I am generally out in front of campus before and after school, so if you see me and have a question, please don’t hesitate to come by.

Our mission statement is “We reach, teach and touch the lives of junior high students, preparing them for tomorrow.  We expand their intellectual and physical abilities, develop high levels of proficiency in a diverse curriculum, and address the needs of the whole individual”.  Guided by our core values of “integrity”, “respect”, “learning”, “honesty”, and “responsibility”, we take this mission as sacred to our calling as educators charged with meeting the educational needs of all students.  We invite the community to help us carry out this mission as we all play an integral part in shaping the lives of our students.

We have a history of strong parent involvement at Pioneer, and strive to work together to meet the academic and socio-emotional needs of all children.  Our staff has been working hard to prepare your children for rich and meaningful learning experiences inside and outside of the classroom walls. In addition to the implementation of Common Core, it is our desire to foster what is best in all of our students to become college and career ready upon graduation from high school.

Please check back often on our website to find out about all the wonderful activities and programs available at Pioneer Jr. High.  If you have questions please contact the main office, and we will direct your call to the right person.

Here’s to an excellent 2017-2018 school year!
